There's a lot to be said for patience. Some say it's a virtue. Some say it's the path to Zen.
I say it's a load of shit.
Every day I find myself consumed with the thoughts of boarding that plane and leaving for Hoth Utah. Landing in Salt Lake City, a bevy of beautiful women await me at the airport with beer, wearing their little snowbunny suits.
Ok, so that part most likely won't happen. We are landing in Salt Lake City though.
Last year I was excited to go to Sundance because it was the first time I got to go, and the unknown is always exciting. This year it's even more exciting because now I know my way around Park City AND we have actual movies that we will be seeing instead of begging for last-minute bottom-of-the-barrel films that leave me with a taste in my mouth that reminds me a bit of sauerkraut and feces.
Also exciting is the fact that since this isn't an inauguration year, we will most likely be seeing some more stars. Last year was kind of a wash due to the fact that almost everyone who would have usually attended the festival were also invited to President Obama's inauguration, which made it a bit tougher to see them unless you had a TV handy.
I will continue the daily countdown, and you can also count on more videos as the time approaches and my twisted mind comes up with some crazy ways to express myself (without removing my clothes and dancing in the snow, though that could prove interesting).
Well Fat and Skinde have done it again - We ran the Wason Pond Pounder, and this year we did it TWICE! [FLV:0036_Wason2012.
OFFICIAL REVIEW: The Hunger Games
On a whim I decided to go to the movies last night. As I browsed Fandango looking for something to watch, I noticed the overwhelming amount of press that The Hunger Games was getting.
It's been forever since we posted anything on here, so here's what we did over the past weekend. We ran a race! No, seriously, we ran a race.
NH Brewers Festival, We're Going!
Fat and I are heading off to the Southern NH Brewers Festival, hosted by White Birch Brewing. As VIP's (The only way we roll) we will have a meet and greet with all the brewers, dinner, music and of course beer tasting by all the craft brewers in the southern NH area.
