A week ago today, the illustrious Andy Day, lovingly known by me as Fat, posed a challenge to himself on Facebook. He challenged himself to stop drinking for seven days. I assume he chose seven days in case he totally botched it he could ask Frank Parker to go back and tell him to try again. If you didn't get the obscure network TV series reference, I apologize.
Well Fat (and Mr. Parker) have motivated me to post my own challenge. I, however, will be one-upping the Fatman and making mine a two-week challenge! Technically it will be a 12 day challenge which will be explained in the next paragraph.
On November 19th Fat and I will be heading to the Somewhat North Of Boston (SNOB) Film Festival. As everyone knows, our film festival trips tend to be filled with drinking and eating and other things we can't mention due to some state and federal laws. As we know Fat has a love for beer. He chose to spend a week away from beer as proof to himself that he could do it. I have an addiction love for something too... FOOD.
As of this morning, November 7th 2010, I have personally challenged myself to the following until November 19th:
What do you think of that, Fat?
Well Fat and Skinde have done it again - We ran the Wason Pond Pounder, and this year we did it TWICE! [FLV:0036_Wason2012.
OFFICIAL REVIEW: The Hunger Games
On a whim I decided to go to the movies last night. As I browsed Fandango looking for something to watch, I noticed the overwhelming amount of press that The Hunger Games was getting.
It's been forever since we posted anything on here, so here's what we did over the past weekend. We ran a race! No, seriously, we ran a race.
NH Brewers Festival, We're Going!
Fat and I are heading off to the Southern NH Brewers Festival, hosted by White Birch Brewing. As VIP's (The only way we roll) we will have a meet and greet with all the brewers, dinner, music and of course beer tasting by all the craft brewers in the southern NH area.
