Splintered- The untold story

So you've heard us talk about this movie we had been working on... and Skinde posted some video clips the other day.  I thought since I haven't contributed to the video in a while, I'd dig through the video archives and put up what we did get done.  What is crazy to me is it was 5 years ago we shot this... We shot a total of three days, so don't expect much - the cuts are barely edited, and missing some sound and visual effects, but I thought it would be nice to put up what we did accomplish. 

I feel like we learned a lot from that project, and the next one will be a finished peice.  When the next one will be started is another story entirely.

This first video was going to be the original opening credits.  We had my cousin Kyle and his band's song, Rusted Embrace (which is actually death metal but has a beautiful opening/ending) as the opening song.

This second clip is a short section of the beach scene where Skinde's character discovers the mysterious "Jessica" is actually his daughter.  As you'll see it's in need of a lot of work, but that day was gorgeous on the back shore of Gloucester.

This last clip, with the effects intact, was pretty cool.  I've been unable to locate the sound/visual effects, but will keep looking.  This is the climax of the film where Skinde's character finds in an old abonded warehouse (which was an old abandoned paint factory, no longer in existence!) the computer which has been causing all of the strife in the movie.  The computer was to be a digital effect with a transparent screen floating above a keyboard... the fade to white would actually have been a green-screen effect where Skinde and his wife in the film would be surrounded in a white light where he learns the entire truth.  The final death sequence of the agent was the BALLZ with the digital lightning effects that rippled over his body, as was the squib Skinde created for the gunshot effect.
