Avatar! It can be done, it just needs to be done manually. :)
I just recieved my newsletter containing the New hampshire Film Festival selections for 2010. I was very disappointed when I realized we'd scheduled our Texas trip right on top of the NHFF weekend. As it turns out, a number of selections are actually coming from.... Sundance... So I don't feel so bad now. We're trading a weekend of drinking and film watching for drinking on horses with guns and blow jobs. I'm just kidding, we wouldn't be drinking while shooting guns.
Something that was brought to my attention, and upon further investigation was confirmed, is that some of the people who are on the NHFF board just so happen to have received a number of awards in the past for films, which happened to screen at the NHFF - and low and behold, apparently there's a selection or two in this years NHFF that just so happen to be either produced/directed by or associated with said board member(s) again. I'm not saying that I wouldn't love to use a platform like the NHFF to get my own stuff out there and on display, but I think you have to look at that with a little skepticism.
In other news, a mere 12 days from right now, I'll be sipping my first (maybe second) drink 30,000 feet in the air, headed for some big-state of Texas love with the Skind! That should be some good fun. I know Skinde is taking riding lessons - I'm not worried about falling off the horse. I'm more worried I'm gonna fire off a couple of rounds with a gun and like it so much I'll have to go and get me one. I'm thinking a 6-shooter... you know, with the long barrel - so I can further compensate. It's just how I roll.
Well Fat and Skinde have done it again - We ran the Wason Pond Pounder, and this year we did it TWICE! [FLV:0036_Wason2012.
OFFICIAL REVIEW: The Hunger Games
On a whim I decided to go to the movies last night. As I browsed Fandango looking for something to watch, I noticed the overwhelming amount of press that The Hunger Games was getting.
It's been forever since we posted anything on here, so here's what we did over the past weekend. We ran a race! No, seriously, we ran a race.
NH Brewers Festival, We're Going!
Fat and I are heading off to the Southern NH Brewers Festival, hosted by White Birch Brewing. As VIP's (The only way we roll) we will have a meet and greet with all the brewers, dinner, music and of course beer tasting by all the craft brewers in the southern NH area.
