In my previous post I announced the start of Skinde Theatre, my latest home improvement project. I am transforming my blah drab living room into a majestic-looking screening room, complete with super-comfy chaise couch, HDTV, surround sound and all the trimmings.
Here's a photo preview of Skinde Theatre where tonight I will be screening "Devil". I haven't read any reviews about it, but from what I saw in the previews on TV it's a happy little story about a bunch of people who get stuck in an elevator, only to find that one of them is, well, the Devil. I'm guessing they won't be hooking up for drinks after they get un-stuck from the elevator.
Well, dinner's in my belly and I'm firing up the plasma and the temporarily-crippled surround sound system (which will be getting replaced soon). I'll stop back here after the movie to give my thoughts on the film and the still under construction Skinde Theatre experience.
Well Fat and Skinde have done it again - We ran the Wason Pond Pounder, and this year we did it TWICE! [FLV:0036_Wason2012.
OFFICIAL REVIEW: The Hunger Games
On a whim I decided to go to the movies last night. As I browsed Fandango looking for something to watch, I noticed the overwhelming amount of press that The Hunger Games was getting.
It's been forever since we posted anything on here, so here's what we did over the past weekend. We ran a race! No, seriously, we ran a race.
NH Brewers Festival, We're Going!
Fat and I are heading off to the Southern NH Brewers Festival, hosted by White Birch Brewing. As VIP's (The only way we roll) we will have a meet and greet with all the brewers, dinner, music and of course beer tasting by all the craft brewers in the southern NH area.
