Oh okay sure, you could argue that we're only in November and Sundance is all the way out in January, but hey, look what happened to September - ya, you don't even remember what you did in September did you? What about October? Ya, I didn't think so - it came and went and all you have left is a few juji fruits nobody wants because it's just a damn nasty candy.
Everyone should really hand out peanut butter cups and that's it.
I am not here to talk about the past though, I'm here to look towards the future (by assembling video clips from the past)! Last year we had a little intro before each vlog entry... and yes, before you roll those eyes, we listened to both our readers and cut it down considerably! We've got a new intro based on the latest promo I've got posted in the video section.
If you watch it and you're totally confused, you may want to visit the archives and see what we've worked on in the past - from a 3 minute short for Good Morning America's Halloween video contest (See: The Game) to our never quite finished full-length feature film (See: Splintered) there's a little bit of everything.
A few explanations - One clip you'll see over and over in MANY videos is the one from The Game, where Skinde says to his characters wife "That's what this is for". This is a clip that makes me laugh every time I see it, and it's become something of a running joke with Skinde... so every chance I get to post it somewhere, I do.
The scene where Skinde fires a gun - everyone thinks this really happened. It's one of the few special effects we've created in our short film career. A little smoke effect in Discreet Combustion overlayed on the film we shot. Timed just right I think it looks damn convincing!
Some of the footage is actually "behind the scenes" type stuff from our feature film, Splintered, which we attempted to shoot the summer of 2005. There are few of you who know what it takes to assemble a reliable cast and crew for a film... but those who do know will tell you it's a bitch. We shot some amazing footage, and at some point, I'll post more of it in it's less-than-finished form.
I have no explanation for the giant smile on my face while behind Skinde in the pool.
Okay, it's about time I wrapped this up, got my beer on, got my Halo on.
Well Fat and Skinde have done it again - We ran the Wason Pond Pounder, and this year we did it TWICE! [FLV:0036_Wason2012.
OFFICIAL REVIEW: The Hunger Games
On a whim I decided to go to the movies last night. As I browsed Fandango looking for something to watch, I noticed the overwhelming amount of press that The Hunger Games was getting.
It's been forever since we posted anything on here, so here's what we did over the past weekend. We ran a race! No, seriously, we ran a race.
NH Brewers Festival, We're Going!
Fat and I are heading off to the Southern NH Brewers Festival, hosted by White Birch Brewing. As VIP's (The only way we roll) we will have a meet and greet with all the brewers, dinner, music and of course beer tasting by all the craft brewers in the southern NH area.
