Happy Halloween bitches!
Yes, it's that time again. We haven't bitched about Sundance for almost a week now, and you guessed it, I have an issue.
For those who STILL don't know the rules - You don't just get tickets to Sundance. You have to register to be put on a waiting list to see if you're l33t enough. They basically want to weed out people who are looking to scalp tickets... this is their story anyway.
They indicate that the time at which you register has nothing to do with the order in which you will be assigned (if you're l33t) to purchase your ticket package... meaning, it's not first come first serve... however, I signed up several hours before Skinde, and my ticket package purchase time was much earlier than his. Hmmmm..
Anyway, so they've been sending emails stating they have a lot of tickets and passes, and anticipate having enough that even people who don't register and want to come and buy during the event should have no issue.
Well today I login and knew exactly what pass package I needed. I went in, went to the page and the package I need is sold out. The next package level from $750 is $3000. AHAHAHAHAHAHA... what the fuck right?
So Andy, you ask, "what are you going to do?". Well, we've decided we'll go with the down-graded package and get 2 of them - it'll let us see (I believe) 10 films as each comes with 5 and supposedly 2 credentials. I'm crossing my fingers because there were some weird word-play things last year and while those were cleared up they've got some fancy new wording this year. OMGZ, their ticket purchasing system is still a horror show too. It's the clunkiest thing I've ever seen.
Anyway, I am off to carve pumpkins and wash this white paint from my hair. (I was my boss for Halloween)
Well Fat and Skinde have done it again - We ran the Wason Pond Pounder, and this year we did it TWICE! [FLV:0036_Wason2012.
OFFICIAL REVIEW: The Hunger Games
On a whim I decided to go to the movies last night. As I browsed Fandango looking for something to watch, I noticed the overwhelming amount of press that The Hunger Games was getting.
It's been forever since we posted anything on here, so here's what we did over the past weekend. We ran a race! No, seriously, we ran a race.
NH Brewers Festival, We're Going!
Fat and I are heading off to the Southern NH Brewers Festival, hosted by White Birch Brewing. As VIP's (The only way we roll) we will have a meet and greet with all the brewers, dinner, music and of course beer tasting by all the craft brewers in the southern NH area.
