How not to do special effects...
I stumbled across this video of some dumb ass kid trying to create a gunshot special effect (presumably so he could look cool and l33t on camera for all his friends and the world to see) and I just about pissed myself! Here's the video...
Now I can show you how a gunshot special effect SHOULD be done, safely and with far more dramatic effect:
Note how no one got electrocuted with our effect? Once I get fat to dig up the clip that follows this one you can see how we made an awesome blood spatter gunshot wound with no bodily harm included. Maybe this kid needs to go on the Interwebz more often to get some ideas.

On a whim I decided to go to the movies last night. As I browsed Fandango looking for something to watch, I noticed the overwhelming amount of press that The Hunger Games was getting.

NH Brewers Festival, We're Going!
Fat and I are heading off to the Southern NH Brewers Festival, hosted by White Birch Brewing. As VIP's (The only way we roll) we will have a meet and greet with all the brewers, dinner, music and of course beer tasting by all the craft brewers in the southern NH area.
