No, I'm not stuttering.
American Airlines sucks it. It's true. I mean I'm sure I could come up with a number of reasons, but clearly something recently happened that prompted this rant.
Skinde and I are headed to the big state of Texas in just a few weeks for some killin, shootin, drinkin and more drinkin. We may even ride a horse, or a cowboy, depending on if we get to the second drinkin.
We were due for a quick 3-day stint, however our Texan friends, who love us dearly, were asking if we might stay an extra day or two. Well, being the adventurous, fun-loving drunks we are, we said what the hell - lets do this bitch up right... right?
So Skinde calls up the travel company and says we'd like to change our return flight to Monday, instead of Sunday - which means we need an extra night in the hotel, another day of the car and of course... we need to have that flight changed. Both the hotel, and the car rental place had no problems with that - obviously you'll have to pay more ($50+tax, for both) - no problem.
American Airlines wants to ass-rape us for $150.
Each.
Can you believe that? $150 fee to swap flights. I could see canceling - they wouldn't want to lose their money there... but postponing a day? Come on. I know you could argue that they would lose those spots on that flight... but given the fact that people are so completely dis-satisfied with air travel and airlines in general right now, wouldn't you think they would want every experience to be as pleasant and NON-gouging as possible? Douche bags, I tell you.
Don't believe me? Here's a list of other people who feel the same way:
Well Fat and Skinde have done it again - We ran the Wason Pond Pounder, and this year we did it TWICE! [FLV:0036_Wason2012.
OFFICIAL REVIEW: The Hunger Games
On a whim I decided to go to the movies last night. As I browsed Fandango looking for something to watch, I noticed the overwhelming amount of press that The Hunger Games was getting.
It's been forever since we posted anything on here, so here's what we did over the past weekend. We ran a race! No, seriously, we ran a race.
NH Brewers Festival, We're Going!
Fat and I are heading off to the Southern NH Brewers Festival, hosted by White Birch Brewing. As VIP's (The only way we roll) we will have a meet and greet with all the brewers, dinner, music and of course beer tasting by all the craft brewers in the southern NH area.
